Our belief

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and that none may add or take away anything from it
  • We understand and believe that the Trinity means- God in three persons revealed Himself as the Father God, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and by Christ Jesus in His death and resurrection power, all who believe in Him can be saved from the penalty of Sin. (Rom 3:23)
  • We believe that Jesus is the head of the body of Christ and all those who believe in his divinity and walk in obedience to his call. (Col 1:18)
  • We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Baptizer in the Holy Spirit subsequent to a clean heart. (Acts 1:8)
  • We believe that every believer who accepts the Lord Jesus as their saviour should produce the nine fold fruits of the Spirit which include; peace, long suffering, patience, gentleness, faith, mercy and temperance. (Gal. 5:22)
  • We believe that the church should claim and manifest the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit: Healing, word of wisdom, knowledge, working of miracles, faith, and discernment, interpretation of tongues, prophecy and speaking in tongues.
  • We believe that God has given us Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers in the church for perfection of the saints for the work of the ministry and to edify the body of Christ.
  • We believe the new birth, justification and regeneration are brought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
  • We believe the personal and premillennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ to receive unto Himself the church and afterwards to set up His throne as King. (1 Thess 4:13- 17) & (5:1-11)
  • We believe the ordinances of the Lord’s Supper. (1Cor 11:24-26)
  • We believe that true baptism is by immersion, and everyone that repents should be baptised in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Mark 1:8 3:23)
  • We believe in the laying on of hands and anointing with oil on the sick. (James 5:13-15)
  • We believe we should obey the civil government except when it opposes the will of our Lord Jesus Christ as revealed in the scriptures
